Aerial Silks (Ages 6+)

Aerial silks is a new and exciting extension to the dance arts community where dancers perform acrobatics while suspended from the ceiling in specialized long silk fabric. Dancers use silks to wrap, suspend, twist, swing, and spiral bodies into various positions. Silks allows dancers to gain a deeper understanding of artistic expression, strength, flexibility, and beautiful extensions. PMDC is excited to offer this unique program to expand training in a new discipline. PMDC is one of the select few studios in Alberta to offer this amazing program. Classes will be available in sessions throughout the dance season.
