Pure Motion Dance Company is proud to be Calgary’s only affiliate studio with More Than Just Great Dancing (MTJGD), a network of studio owners from across North America who believe dance is more than just sport.

Our goal is to change the dance industry and signify that PMDC’s dancers are coached to a higher standard than any other competitor. As an affiliated studio, our students are pushed to go beyond technique to develop life skills and learn to be respectful, confident, and conscientious youth who share their gifts and talents with our community. All studios in this affiliation are united in the belief that dance has the power to change lives.

What does this mean for my child?

PMDC is connected into a network of hundreds of top dance studios across North America. Our faculty receives information about the newest trends in the dance studio industry before anyone else, which provides us a competitive edge when designing class curricula, choreography, and performance opportunities.

We have relationships built with vendors who provide us with the best costumes, workshops, guest choreographers, and certification/education resources for your child. Since only one studio per market can become an affiliated studio, your child is receiving unparalleled dance education unique to only PMDC that no other studio in Calgary can provide.

What does this mean for me as a parent?

All faculty members are given resources to be leaders and mentors for your children. Our staff does not act as just dance teachers, but rather, advisors to help students navigate situations both inside and outside of our studio walls.

Our management team also adheres to a standard of professionalism and accountability with all dealings. We pride ourselves on our customer service and vow to do everything we can to ensure you and your children have nothing but positive experiences at PMDC.
